Anusara-Inspired Yoga - Based on the teachings of John Friend, Anusara yoga skillfully blends precise alignment principles with life-affirming philosophy. Basics classes will introduce students to Anusara's Universal Principles of Alignment. Mixed level classes offer a more challenging pose selection and pace.

Hatha Yoga - Yoga in the Anusara style (see above description).

Iyengar Yoga - Based on the 75+ years of practice & teachings of BKS Iyengar, Iyengar Yoga focuses on correct alignment, specific sequencing, and the use of props & adjustments to access our full potential. Basics classes will introduce students to foundational poses. Mixed level classes offer a more a challenging pose selection. Intermediate classes assume regular practice of shoulderstand and headstand.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga - This dynamic style of yoga joins movement with breath, creating a steady internal rhythm for the class. Classes will move at a moderate pace to build internal heat. Basics classes will introduce students to vinyasa, foundational poses and sun salutations. Mixed level classes offer a more challenging pace and pose selection.

Gentle Yoga - Yoga in the Svaroopa® style. Svaroopa® yoga uses props and precise alignments in carefully selected sequences of poses to release the deepest tensions in your body. Basics classes will introduce students to foundational poses. Mixed level classes will explore a wider variety of poses and greater depth in foundational poses.

Community Yoga - Enjoy a mixed level Vinyasa Flow class for $6. Unlimited and 5 class passes may be used for this class but 10 & 20 class passes cannot.

Prenatal Yoga - A class designed for expecting mothers to prepare their bodies and minds for pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood. No prior yoga experience necessary. Appropriate at any point during your pregnancy. Check with your physician if there are any complications with your pregnancy or if you have any concerns.

 

All classes can be attended on a drop-in basis, no registration required.

Basics - for those new to yoga or for those wanting to focus on the basics

Mixed - for various levels of yoga students

Intermediate - for students with a consistent practice for a minimum of one year
