Ann Rose, RYT 200, Anusara Elements
Ann has been a student of yoga for almost 25 years since her first class in Hawaii in the ‘90s. She has studied with Ashtanga, Anusara and Iyengar teachers. She taught flow classes in Elmira in the late 2000’s then took time off to raise her son and, now that he has started college, she’s sharing her experiences on the mat again. She completed a 200 hour training in 2021 and is certified in Anusara elements.
Her practice has evolved over the years with knowledge and age, from a more athletic practice to one that is refined and focused aimed at supporting and honoring the body.
Her practice and classes focus on alignment and strength as well as lessons that can be applied on and off the mat. She helps students find a balance of grounding and lightness, steadiness and sweetness, focus and play.
