Calming Autumn Mini-Retreat

As the weather cools and the light wanes, it's natural for anxiety to increase. If you are feeling out of sorts this fall, join us for this mini-retreat and learn to use Ayurveda and Yoga to stay calm during the transition in season, to boost your immune system and to prepare yourself for the coming of winter.

Price is for the full weekend & includes:
- Yoga, Meditation, & Pranayama Practice
- Light vegetarian lunch on Saturday

6 - 8 PM ~ Food and Digestion
Learn how to nurture your gut to calm your nervous system, deepen your sleep, and improve your immunity. Stoke your digestive fire, or Agni, using spices to warm your body and assist your digestion.
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM ~ Ayurveda & Skin Care
Our skin is our protective barrier and this time of year leaves it dry and fragile. Learn ways to nurture your skin and why these practices are some of the best ways to prepare for winter.
12:30 - 1:30 PM ~ Lunch Break
A light, warming meal of Kitchari (Ayurvedic stew of rice and mung beans) and chutney will be served - feel free to bring your own lunch or anything else you would like to supplement.
1:30 - 3 PM - Vata Yoga
Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation to soothe Vata Dosha - leaving you feeling grounded, stable, & gently warmed. In this slow-moving and contemplative practice we will cultivate stillness and silence to calm body, mind and spirit.
