It seems like our time is getting more anxious and stressful – with more information, choices, demands, and countless other stressors. Sometimes we react without time to think and get pulled further into the cycle, strengthening our feeling of stress which may lead to negative consequences on our bodies, minds and relationships.
About Rahul Shah
Rahul is an auditor by trade, a philosopher at heart, and a mindfulness teacher in aspiration. Having graduated from Binghamton University and having worked nearly ten years in the financial industry in New York City, Rahul is currently on the path to become a certified teacher in the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program taught at the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Rahul has a personal yoga and meditation practice for over 4 years and has lived and worked in London, traveled around the world and attended silent mindfulness retreats in Scotland, Thailand and the US. Rahul currently lives in the Greater New York City area but considers the Southern Tier his second home.
