​Special Class:  Yoga & Ayurveda  for the Summer
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, ​​ Saturday, 7/13/19

Join Ayurvedic Health Teacher Rachel Bush as she leads you through a seasonal yoga class to help keep you cool this Summer. In Ayurveda, the passage of the season marks a sacred cycle that deeply affects our ​bodies, hearts, and state of mind.

The fiery heat of the Summer season intensifies the Pitta that resides in all of us. Pitta's characteristics are hot & fast and when out of balance leaves us feeling edgy, irritable, and exhausted. Through Ayurveda, we can cool an aggravated Pitta and
​restore balance with an attitude of surrender.

In this class, you'll:

- Learn about the Pitta Dosha & its characteristics
- Balance Pitta's ambition with a softer   and more restoring yoga practice
- Meditate
- Learn pranayama (breathing exercises) that calm    and cool the body and mind
- Enjoy light snacks and tea

No experience required, ​All levels welcome!

$15 if Pre-Registered by 7/12,
$20 to Drop-in​
