These are fantastic examples of compression and tension. I'm so glad you've found a way to adjust your DD to you, while staying receptive to the tension in your shoulders/arms when in Dolphin & the ways it may change over time.

That's very a insightful observation! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your manas and opening yourself up to observation. Observations about ourselves can be especially challenging because in reflecting on ourselves, there's the potential for judgement. We are our own harshest critics after all. And let's face it - when we feel judged, it's understandable to hide behind dreams and distractions. But don't forget, there's space. Space between processing and deciding. Space that encapsulates both. In space, everything is in harmony.

Hi Everyone! I can't wait to see all of you tomorrow and get to know you all better. Right now, my favorite yoga pose is Tree because it encourages me to be stable, but to go flow with the tiny adjustments my body makes to balance. My least favorite pose is Shoulderstand because I experience a lot of compression in my upper spine. The yoga blanket is my all time favorite because it's so versatile. When I'm feeling crabby (or crappy!) my go-to practice is restorative yoga. It gives me perspective and helps me to let go.
