Training  Paths

Our 200 Hour Teacher Training program is divided into two  paths.  The first  is the student's path  called the Tune In and is open to  anyone looking to deepen their practice as they tune in to themselves.  The second is the teacher's path - the  200 hour Teacher Training. This path is for those interested in learning the skills necessary to become a Certified Yoga Teacher.

Student Path

Are you interested in learning more about the practice of yoga? Are you curious about the philosophy behind yoga?  Do you want to explore  the practices of meditation and pranayama? Do you want to learn more about the anatomy and physiology to improve your alignment? Do you love yoga class, but hope to delve deeper?

Deepen your knowledge and your practice as you Tune In to yourself!
Important Dates 2020:
8/28: $400    Early Bird Special  Ends

9/11: First Weekend 
10/9:    Second Weekend 
11/13:    Third Weekend
 12/11:  Last Weekend

​In the Tune In, we will:
  • break down the poses to build a strong foundation and alignment 
  • build a meditation and breath work practice 
  • learn the history of yoga
  • explore sun salutations - ways to modify    and adjust
  • explore different practices of yoga - yin, restorative, flow, & yoga nidra
  • how to find the balance of strength and flexibility in your body
  • gain valuable feedback into your own personal body and how to work with your unique body
  • learn how to practice headstand, handstand, shoulder stand  safely

You can  take  all 4 weekends  of the Tune In to deepen your yoga practice or  sign up for 1 weekend.  
The 4 weekends contribute to the 200 hours required for the  Teacher Training program.


Times:
Fridays, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Saturdays,     10:00 am - 5:00  pm
Sundays,   11:30 am -  3:30 pm 

Dates:
​Weekend 1:  Breath, Flow, & Meditation
           
Friday, 9/11, Saturday 9/12, & Sunday, 9/13

​
​Weekend 2:  Legs - Standing & Balance Postures, Props, &  Philosophy
          Friday 10/9,   Saturday 10/10, & Sunday 10/11

​Weekend 3:  Hips & Spine - Seated/Backbending/Supine Postures, Yin Yoga, & Philosophy
         Friday 11/13, Saturday 11/14, & Sunday 11/15

​Weekend 4:  Upper Body & Core - Twisting/Hand Balancing/Inversion Postures, Pranayama & Meditation,  & Philosophy
         Friday 12/11, Saturday 12/12, & Sunday 12/13
Cost:
​$400 if pre-registered by 8/28
$450 if registered after 8/28
$120 for 1 weekend
