Jason Shaw, E-RYT 200,  Certified Oxygen Advantage® Functional Breathing Instructor

For Jason, yoga is the natural evolution of a lifelong pursuit of self-awareness and mindful living. He loves how yoga blends strength with flexibility, and focus with perspective—offering a path that is both grounding and expansive. To him, yoga unifies the best aspects of so many other disciplines, weaving them into a single, adaptable practice that can meet students wherever they are.

A dedicated student since 2002 and teacher since 2004, Jason approaches yoga as training for life itself—helping people walk, bend, balance, and move with comfort and ease. His classes are thoughtfully pre-planned, focusing on building healthy actions and movement patterns rather than chasing outward outcomes. Often incorporating props creatively, he designs sequences that encourage exploration, spark curiosity, and create a rich energetic experience.

As a Certified Oxygen Advantage® Functional Breathing Instructor, Jason integrates science-backed breath training into his classes to improve focus, resilience, and overall well-being. With a calm, encouraging style, he emphasizes whole-body awareness, functional mobility, and efficient breathing—supporting the way we live, work, and play, both on and off the mat.
